After Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel announced plans to curb youth smoking and the consumption of menthol cigarettes, Camel began distributing "Get One Pack of Camel for $1.00" coupons. After individual's redeemed their coupon, many started receiving  emails from Camel. The email received from Camel in October 2013 is promoting Camel's Instant Win game at camel.com. Text: "Instant Win You could win $25 or $50 Try Your Luck."
