The game allows site users to try their hand at “roping” various online targets (horses, steer, etc.). As an extra perk, users are offered coupons or gifts for participating — a bandana for completing level one and belt buckle for completing all six game levels. Text: "Play the new Rope Slinger. Learn the ropes. Aim to win. Earn a reward. At Marlboro.com".

The bottom of the e-mail also promotes two new styles of Marlboro Special Blend cigarettes and the Marlboro Snus Challenge, an 8 week long sweepstakes.
