Direct mail from Marlboro. This piece is a sweepstakes titled, "Outwith the West 2." Cover is red, white and blue with the text, "The next $1,000,000 is on the line." Inside: "Grab 3 friends. Crack 100 clues. And your team could take home THE MILLION. Enter Now."Included is an approximately 70 paged colored "clue book", with 100 clues about the west that contestants need to solve. Most clues are question that contestants must figure out, and write the answer in the provided cluebook. Several additonal questions are "photo clues", and can only be answered by sending an actual photo of the answer. The clue book is full of traditional Marlboro cowboy imagery. Completed entry forms were required to be received by September 20, 2004. The top 20 teams would win a trip to the Marlboro Ranch, and the team with the most correct clues would win a million dollar grandprize.
