Treasurer luxury cigarettes, manufactured by Chancellor Tobacco Company. Advertised as the most expensive cigarette, at $20 per pack and up. Foil wrapped liner, watermarked paper, and silver filter. Cigarettes come in a burnished aluminum hinged case with silkscreened text:"expensive taste", "a mark of grandeur, signifyging superlative taste and absolute exclusivity", "the finest Virginia tobaccos blended to perfection and hand packed...". Manufacturer intended the cigarettes to be available only from "premier" sales outlets, "available to those who can afford luxuries beyond the reach of the average smokers." Can compete with or be used alongside premium cigars.
