Description:
Lorillard introduced Kent Micronite in 1952. Advertising promised "the greatest health protection in cigarette history." The filter used crocodaolite asbestos until 1956 or 1957 despite the fact that consultants for the company demonstrated that asbestos fibers were in Kent cigarette smoke in 1954. Blue fibers interleaved with the crepe paper are crocidolite & dyed cotton.
