As part of a promotion for the new Platinum menthol product, Newport sent a few lucky browsers on the brand website a Victrola portable turntable. The gift arrived in October 2017 in a brown cardboard box with a small card on the exterior reading "A Gift For You" with the brand insignia. A card on the inside shaped like a record sleeve reads "You've been exclusively selected to enjoy... A fresh take" and includes further Platinum product imagery and promotion of the brand website.
