Cigarettes - packs/carton
Some of the Canadian health warnings, in French, on US manufactured Camels. The same warning is repeated in English on the other side of these packs.
The size and placement of the Canadian and Australian warnings have generated a new cottage industry in both countries. Enterprising marketers in both countries sell stickers with reassuring or amusing messages which smokers can place over the warnings on their packets. The occurrence of such an industry might well be a genuine measure indicating that these warning labels are effective. No one has marketed stickers to cover up the warnings on the sides of packs of US cigarettes.
