Camel's Exotic Blends; a line of flavored Turkish and domestic blend cigarettes. Flavored cigarettes here include Crema, Dark Mint, Twist, and Izmir Stinger. Flavor & scent in tobacco, not filter. Package insert states: "...Flavors of the Exotic -a collection of sophisticated indulgences created by complementing our smooth yet flavorful Turkish and Domestic blend with international spices, flavors and rare tobaccos...available at fine tobacconists nationwide or by calling 1-800-CML-1773" The cigarettes are made with detailed, colorful, "designer" filters and wrapping paper. The cigarettes are packaged in colorful, some luxurious, full colored tins. Initially these exotic blends were only available at Camel events or by special order. Now available in most general tobacco retail outlets. Came up in the market around 1999. Camel exotic blends brought this idea of flavored exotic cigarettes to the mass markets.
